Sports Car Market Magazine will Present the 2022 Spirit of Motoring Award at the 20th Anniversary Hilton Head Island Concours d’Elegance and Motoring Festival on Nov. 6 Sports Car Market magazine, in partnership with The Hilton Head Island Concours d’Elegance and Motoring Festival, will present the “Sports Car Market Spirit of Motoring Award” on November 6, 2022, at Port Royal Golf Club as part of the Festival’s 20th Anniversary. The award will be presented to the car that “best represents the dream of driving your sports car on the open road, end enjoying every aspect – from the sounds the engine makes to the vistas unveiled as you pursue the roads less traveled on your adventures,” said Keith Martin, Editor and Publisher of Sports Car Market magazine. The recipient will be selected by the Concours judges and SCM Senior Editor Rory Jurnecka and SCM Concours Ambassador Somer Hooker will award the prize. “To create and bestow this award for the first time, during such an iconic year for Hilton Head Island’s Concours d’Elegance, is an exceptional honor,” added Martin. “Each car has its own personality and stories. We want this accolade to represent the exterior you see and the uniqueness you might not.”   Best of Show at the 2021 Hilton Head Concours was the 1932 Packard 903 Deluxe Victoria owned by Richard and Patricia Lambert of Port Orange, Fla.
